May 16, 2018 – Chautauqua Institution
The experience of persons with disabilities can be quite diverse, but it can touch in profound ways the individuals themselves, their families and the entire community.
Many of the social, political and cultural gains that have been made in recent decades are threatened by extraordinary challenges in the dimensions of personal relationships, health, education, employment, and life aspirations.
The Resource Center Symposium at Chautauqua features speakers with insightful perspectives on current, critical issues facing individuals with disabilities and families.
The symposium will be held in the comfortable environs of Lenna Hall and Bellinger Hall on the grounds of the historic Chautauqua Institution.
